    Here's a novel concept, stealth in Sven Co-op. Players are supposed to reach the end of the map without being seen. There isn't really a penalty for being seen.

    The map description says that we have to try to sneak to the exit and not be seen. When the map started and the message of the day popped up I was getting shot. So I don't know how anybody can be reasonably expected to play this map the 'correct' way.

    There is a crossbow at spawn and I use it to blow up some soldiers before running out of ammo and dying. Then I ran through what felt like a straightforward hallways connected to rooms with some enemies in them. The map is really blocky and has bad proportions. Although I will say I did like the desks clearly built for giants but not so much the stairs I had to jump on to ascend.

    At a certain point we hit the invisible end point, a brief message flashes on screen and the map ends as suddenly as it began.

Pros:

  • I love blowing people apart with the crossbow
  • the action was pretty good

Cons:

  • I really hate being shot at the moment I start a game
  • being shot first thing in the map completely negates the stated objective of the map
  • the map looks bad
  • not a lot of ammo in the map
