Collect keycards, fight enemies crawling out of respawners, and defeat a guest star from another game.      The first thing you'll notice is the wonderful atmosphere. The lighting and level geometry makes for a wonderful brutal set of concrete corridors and occasional skylights letting in rain. This map is a conglomeration of hallways with monster spawners and smatterings of weapons off in the corners.      I spent a lot of time lost in this map, the map description says 'multiple paths' and I can attest to that. Ultimately the whole map is finding two keys, unlocking the boss arena, and then killing the boss. Finding the first key was easy enough but then I spent a lot of time walking in circles trying to figure out where to go next. Despite the primitive geometry, there's a real charm to each environment that basks in the simplicity of a much older 3D title. We're dropped into a hallway that accelerates us towards the classic big red springs which bounce us straight up into the ceiling where we bounce back into the acceleration hallway. When we free ourselves we end up in a room with a big water feature and beyond are the entrances to the six different challenges. This map really embodies early Sven Co-op, where things appear to be optimized for a rush of people. We start off on stairs and we climb upward, with full armor which really does help our survival, until we fight globs of enemies. The map doesn't look great, doing the bare minimum to evoke each environment. The indoor areas benefit best from this, but the more natural environments, as mentioned early, really come across as surreal and wacky. The outdoor area is big and flat and features a draw distance that many important details (including an enemy apache) hide behind.     Buro is a prologue to a map series that was never made, which is a shame because it is a beautiful map. The map is very nicely designed bank filled with assassins that ends when players enter the vault.       The 2k version of Bridge (both were made in 2001) is lengthier with a whole complex to be explored after the bridge section. It is much more in line with traditional walkthrough maps and has far less respawning enemies.       The sequel to Breakfree is more of the same. We don't have to go back down the elevator and there is now a boss fight! Unfortunately the biggest obstacle is still the elevator mechanic itself.
