    These Barneys do not attack, even if they did they can not hurt players. This is an old map back when Sven Co-op worked differently and Barneys could hurt the player, so the main gimmick of this map can no longer be realized.

    Barney Attack is a map with a bunch of Barneys in it, and as one can only expect, they sure do attack. The ground is a grate, around you are crates, ammo among the freight, Barneys throwing hate. Retaliate, or don't. Barneys can't damage players anymore because Sven Co-op updates often carelessly break balancing in existing maps apparently. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    The players have a bunch of weapons. Snarks don't do shit, but grenades'll clear the Barneys out. There's a platform, a drop into a bottomless pit. It's pretty nondescript.

    Edit: There's also an invisible platform beneath the map you can reach by falling into the pit, wherein you can retrieve a crossbow and get teleported back to spawn. It doesn't make much of a difference.

    I had fun for as long as it takes to throw a banana grenade. After that I was a bit curious, a bit disappointed, then rather bored. If that's the experience you're looking for, give this a try.

Pros:

  • The name sure is accurate
  • Lots of weapons
  • Crossbow thing under the map adds some kind of fun thing to do in the map

Cons:

  • The map is basically broken now since the main attraction of it is neutered by inability to harm the players
  • You just spawn in a room full of Barneys. Even if this map worked as intended it's just players and Barneys spawnkilling each other in a cube.

Welcome friends, to Sven Co-op map reviews.     My name is GrandmasterJ and my colleague and other reviewer who is not writing this post is Dunkelschwamm.  This blog exists purely because we have zero faith that Wikidot will exist much longer and want a place to host our reviews. Zombie Squad - Dunkelschwamm

       Suit up squad, it's time to go fight human grunts that this map calls zombies. This map is a horde map taking place in a burned out urban block, supposedly there are points to capture but I didn't see any.
