    This is an intriguing Robooto map, I think. Its brushwork is incredibly creative, trying all sorts of different things to evoke a rainforest aesthetic. Some of these attempts are more successful than others, and the utter density of these different approaches creates a fairly inconsistent atmosphere.

    The map itself appears to be nothing more than a brief facade for testing out these brushwork prototypes for a rainforest environment. Playability-wise, I don't think it's really all that worth checking out for players so I don't recommend playing or putting on a server. If you're a mapper you might be interested in seeing what things Robooto attempts, though I would say most of the lessons here would be what NOT to do.

Pros:

  • Some neat attempts to create a novel environment

Cons:

  • Pretty pointless, frankly, as a playable map.
  • Most of the experiments in rainforest engineering were unsuccessful.

Zombie Squad - Dunkelschwamm

       Suit up squad, it's time to go fight human grunts that this map calls zombies. This map is a horde map taking place in a burned out urban block, supposedly there are points to capture but I didn't see any.
